Caleb Glymph, known in the music world as Jared Bentley, was nurtured by his family and taught to always work hard to achieve his goals and follow his dream. Today he has embarked on a journey that is about to explode into sensational sounds that will catapult him into his career as a musical genius. This multi-talented, eclectic, thirty-year-old musician was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Influenced by the love and support from family and friends, he has been perfecting his natural aptitude for music since the young age of three. Growing up, music and entertainment were always a major part of his life. As early as elementary school, Caleb began to unearth his musical gifts. To help ignite the musical fire within him, he studied performing arts at Orange Grove Middle Magnet, where he was involved in the Gospel Choir and Performed at the Straz Center for Performing Arts. He continued to grow his talent in High school which was enhanced by his grandmother’s purchase of his first set of recording equipment. Caleb went from playing the piano with his grandfather and singing with his mother and aunt in the living room to forming his own lyrics and instrumentals in his bedroom. In an effort to elevate his music to another level, he helped organize a local entertainment group called (DSB) Dem Squad Boys. The group performed around at local talent shows and was even showcased in The Tampa Tribune, a local newspaper.

Today, Glymph is exploring having his music heard in various arenas as he works to perfect his craft. He has auditioned for casting in American Idol and has won a frontline pass via ABC Action News to skip hundreds to audition. Recently, Caleb entered the Battle to the Masses Competition where he won first place with his newly released song, “Lethal”. Winning the competition has provided him many opportunities to appear on radio programs and showcase his talent at events such as the Red, White and Blue Festival in Tampa, FL.
Caleb is quickly etching out a place in the music industry by highlighting his very personal and unique style of performing. He stands out from every other artist because of his very ‘hands on’ approach to music. He is involved in all aspects of music from writing music, making beats, and singing to production, recording, editing. He loves working with all of the software and equipment involved in producing an overall product.
Presently, Glymph is a graduate of Saint Leo University where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Marketing Degree. At this time, he is totally dedicating himself to advancing his music career. He has a dynamic, energetic person with a magnetic personality that draws people to him and he has the voice, the personality, the fortitude, the stamina, the competitiveness and the support needed to succeed. He currently is preparing to drop two new songs that his fans are anxiously waiting. We are expecting great things from this talented artist.
